HYPERCRAFT

During my specialisation, HYPERCRAFT I learned tp looked into the potential of software programs which could revolutionise fashion. Through the exploration of digital tools, I found different production methods and got familiar with new ways of thinking. I developed my projects looking into sustainability and individual expression. Furthermore I visualised my designs virtually and physically by dedicating detail to the merge of fashion and technology for a visionary approach in fashion design.

As an independent designer, I crafted a collection inspired by the themes of anxiety explored in Werner Herzog's films. Herzog's use of sounds, angles, and phrasing to evoke anxiety resonated with me deeply. My collection aimed to capture the complex emotions and physical sensations associated with anxiety, emphasizing feelings of confinement, heaviness, and dissociation.

I wanted to create designs that were both personal and relatable to those experiencing anxiety or knowing someone who does. Through this collection, I aimed to raise awareness about anxiety as a common human experience and celebrate the imperfections that make us unique.

When I first ventured into 3D printing, creating a top out of TPU95 proved to be quite a challenge.

Navigating the nuances of the printing process was intricate, but it was also an intriguing journey of experimentation.

I found myself constantly adjusting settings and refining designs to achieve the desired outcome.

Despite the initial difficulties, the experience was incredibly rewarding, offering valuable insights into the possibilities and potential of 3D printing technology.
